Cannot use 320x240 (QVGA) resolution with Logitech c300 webcam

I have Logitech c300 webcam and I have windows XP operating system in my computer. I am not able to use 320x240 (QVGA) resolution with Logitech c300 webcam, if I set any other resolution then it works fine but with 320x240 resolution I get only white screen. Please help me to solve this problem?

I have gone through your problem regarding resolution and first thing I want to ask you is in your computer do you have AMD chipset? If yes then let me know the model number. You have to also check whether you have latest web cam software installed or not?

Yes in my computer I have AMD 790GX Chipset and I have tried to solve this problem by downloading the latest version of web can software but after downloading that also I am still getting same problem. is there any ther way to solve this problem then let me know.

I searched on the internet regarding this issue and I have come to know that user with AMD chipsets and running windows XP operating system experience error related to video degradation and to solve this problem we have to Download Hotfix for this and install it in our system. now after that I have downloaded the Hotfix in my computer and then I have installed it. now after installing the Hotfix I have installed it and then I have restart my computer. After restarting the computer I was able to use Logitech c300 webcam with cannot use 320x240 resolution. According to me you should also download the Hotfix which is attached below and after that you have to apply in your computer and reboot your PC. Now after restarting your computer you will not face any problem with 320x240 resolution.

In my case I was also having same problem and after that I have downloaded latest web software from the official site of the Logitech and then I have installed it in my computer. Now after installing that in my computer my problem get solved.
