Hi,
I have a strange issue since I got my new system assembled last year.
The system:
Intel i5-2400 3.10Ghz
Crosair value-memory DDR3 4+4GB 1333Mhz
ASUS P8H61-M LX (Rev. B3)
XFX ATI Radeon HD4650 1GB
Seagate SATA 360GB
DVD RW + Portable Seagate 500 GB USB 2.0
Cooler Master PSU(SMPS) Extreme Power Series 500
Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1
The issue:
At idle state the CPU temp is b/w 40-46 degrees C, but the mobo temp is b/w 85-89 degrees C.
At working state when the CPU temp increases according to the workload, the mobo temp decreases proportionately. Strange, huh?
For ex: At 90-100% variable CPU usage the CPU temp will be around 70-75 degrees C and the motherboard temp falls down to 40-45 degrees C.
I have used Piriform Speccy and various other software to verify this, yet the temperature readings are the same.
What can cause such an issue?
Thanks in advance.
