    Upgradable things in Mac Pro

I am looking for to upgrade the Mac Pro. I think that by upgrading I can at least save some money rather than buying a new one. But there are hundreds of question in my mind. The first thing is what are all components can be upgraded in Mac pro. I think that the GPU can be replaced but I don’t know what other GPU will be compatible. CPU is also replaced but it is little risky. The memory and storage is definitely and easily upgradable

Basically, you can upgrade the video card. Apple is not very forthcoming with the release of upgrade cards. For my 2006 Mac Pro is an upgrade released in 2008 (the 8800GT) but that is no longer available. Still later, there are currently no tickets (at least to my knowledge). So yes, you can upgrade but to what and how long is unclear. Memory and hard drives you can just expand it.

Updates to the Mac Pro always impress us, incorporating the best of its components, as well as more advanced and faster speeds. Mainly have an Intel Core i7-980x speeds up to 3.33 GHz and up to 3.6 GHz TurboBoost with six cores and 12 threads.

This processor has architecture 32nm, LGA 1366 and a power source of 130 W. It is expected that as always, the update is not cheap, but if you have the money to buy, it will surely be a very good investment.

You can upgrade MacPro4 the 2010 with EFI and install an Intel Xeon Processor W3690. The A1115 is the original 2006 Mac Pro with two Dual Core Xeon 5150 2.66 GHz. You must choose a 2009 model, the processor socket is LGA771 and LGA1366 2006/2007/2008 on the 2009/2010 (They are not compatible between the two versions of sockets). I did the EFI update on my Mac Pro for the move from a 2009 to 2010 and install the processor board 12 cores in 2010.

It is remarkable that these models provide an update, because this could mean that Apple is considering the entire server line in the new stabbing. The server of the Mac Pro in 2009 and the Mac Mini was presented in June 2010 for the last provided a boost, so it can be sure that the full Mini and Pro lines are refreshed.
