Hard disk drive basically unlike a Floppy Diskette, a hard drive is mass storage device for data held as magnetic media flux reversal, commonly in binary forms. Hard drive disk is need for to handle bulk storage, that is, the ability to store large, contiguous file containing perhaps a database. Now consider you want to store the records of the 50000 employee of big organization. For that you cannot use Floppy disk so here you have to use Hard Drive.
