I have read your problem and I think this problem is related to the drivers and that is why I will suggest you to first open device manager in your computer and after opening the device manager you have to click on view option and after clicking on that you have to select show hidden device. Now you have to uninstall mouse driver from 'Human Interface Devices' and then restart your computer. now you have to connect the mouse with your computer and then your computer will install the drivers automatically and then your problem will get solved.

I hope this solution will be helpful for you.

I was also experiencing the same problem with my mouse and after that I have uninstalled setpoint from my computer and then i have performed clean boot of the computer. Now after performing clean boot I have install setpoint again in my computer and after then I have connect Unifying receiver and then mouse started working properly. I think you can also try this solution.

if you want to perform clean boot then you have to follow this steps.
    • Open system configuration utility by typing msconfig in start menu search box.
    • After that you have to choose selective startup from general tab.
    • Now uncheck the Load Startup Items
    • Go to the Services tab
    • Now hide all Microsoft services.
    • Then click on disable all.
    • After that select Ok and restart PC.

If above solution does not help you to solve this problem then I think you should email your problem to Logitech support and then they will provide you proper solution regarding this problem. I hope your problem will get solved as soon as possible.
