    Pinkie Shift is not working on Logitech Flight System G940

    Well I was looking to create new profile for Falcon 4. I done the same without having any issue but how should I use pinkie shift button?
    I have done below mentioned keymaps.

    1 - View 3d
    2 - View 2d
    3 - Padlock
    4 - Next Padlock
    With Shift

    5 - TMS UP
    6 - TMS DOWN
    7 - TMS LEFT
    8 - TMS RIGHT
    None of above worked for me?
    Any help would be highly appreciated.

    Thanks a lot in advance.

    In this particular game I have also created two separate commands.

    North = 2D Cockpit
    E = Next Padlock
    S = Virtual Cockpit
    W = Padlock View

    In the second set I have assigned

    North = TMS Up
    E = TMS Right
    S = TMS Down
    W = TMS Left

    In both of the POV command I have not assigned anything to the corner position.
    After that I have assigned SHIFT to S5 and mapped TMS POV to DPAD of the stick and Views POV to stick's DPAD.
    I have used the default profile which has been supplied by the Logitech for Falcon 4:A and modified Command mapping. If you have created a new profile then I am using one of the other Falcon sims but it should work for the same.

    If you wanted the normal behavior than you have to give HOTAS TMS Commands and shifted behavior. You will require to press and hold pinkie switch in order to give view command. There are couple of hats on the stick. You have to use below mentioned steps.
    • You have to go for Edit > Assignments >POV Commands. You have to create two new POV Commands. Once should be TMS POV and other should be Views POV.
    • Once you have defined the both the POV Commands, you will require to close POV Commands dialog box and you have to move mouse cursor on stick DPAD control.
    • Left click and select Assignment and you have to select TMS POV Command. It will map HOTAS TMS keystrokes to G940 stick particularly into the unshifted mode
    • Now you have to left click over Unshifted command and it supposed to changed to Shifted Command. Button on the right side of window should display into orange font. Again you have to left click on DPAD control and select Assignment and go for POV Command. It will map view command and you will earlier DPAD when you have press the shift button.

    You can also have the profile into Logitech Gaming Software install folder. It can be named as LwpDefault.xml and contain profile data for the every single game. you should open the file in browser and simply search for Falcon AF to see what results it is providing. If you have deleted the profile then the profile will go back to this file to get the new entries into the profile.
