Getting error code 4MEM/9/4000000:b0f21220 in Apple imac mc508ll/a

Hello friends in my Apple imac mc508ll/a I am facing problem. It has suddenly started giving me error code 4MEM/9/4000000:b0f21220. What does this error code mean and how to fix this problem? If anyone have solution regarding this then let me know.

The error code which you are getting is regarding memory failure. i will suggest you to try to solve this problem by removing RAN stick from your desktop and then you have to put it back again in your computer. Now after doing this you have to check whether same problem is occurring or not.

As far as I know this error code does not mean that you are having bad RAM. Many times while Apple hardware test it shows error regarding memory and after reseating the RAM in computer this problem can get solved. If you have two RAM sticks in your machine then I will suggest you to remove any RAM from your computer and then you have to check whether you get same error again or not. You have to if you need any more help regarding this then let me know.

Yes I totally agree with above solution. In my system I was also having same problem and after that I have removed RAM stick from my desktop and then I have insert it again and after doing that when I have run Apple Hardware Test at that time I didn’t get any error. I think you should also try this solution.
