Successfully upgraded HP Pavilion Elite e9240f using motherboard H-RS880-uATX

The upgrade process is ongoing on this desktop. I know that it is the safest way to get a new one by upgrading old. There was no integrated graphic card. So the first upgrade was Radeon HD6870. After that there are few updates

    • Caviar Black 2 TB SATA III
    • Caviar Green 2 TB SATA
    • HP SuperSpeed USB 3.0 PCIe x1 Card

The Motherboard is made up of Socket AM3 (938) in which It has AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 945 Processor. And 5 PCI, 4 RAM Slots. The maximum capacity of RAM is 16MB.

The HP Pavilion Elite e9240f is a good computer if you want something for the whole family. It is a system that can reproduce some of the newer games, and can also be the home media. The HP Pavilion Elite e9240f is a good mix of home PC to play and media center for under $ 1000 USD.

The e9240f has an AMD Phenom x4 945 3.0 GHz and a video card ATI Radeon HD 4650 1 GB. This, combined with 8 GB RAM, e9240 helped him to do well in our performance tests. The system was also able to manage gaming tests Crysis and World in Conflict, not well, but enough to play well. In Crysis, with a resolution of 1280 × 1024, the e9240f got 16 frames per second (fps) compared with the 60 fps of the Dell XPS 435.
