made my HP pavilion p6210f desktop pc into a gaming machine.

I had bought my HP pavilion p6210f desktop pc few months back and I have made it gaming machine. I purchased 600w power supply and Nvidia geforce GTX 470 Graphics Card with an alienware optX AW2310 23” 3D monitor and install in my PC now pc rocks. I just spend my few hours and few bugs and made a awesome gaming machine. This gaming machine is very much cheap I don’t have to buy 2000 dollars system just did little upgrade and made it. Gus please tell me how you like my idea of transforming an desktop PC into a awesome gaming machine, also let me know if you have also done something like this.

Even I have maxed my out my PC by adding AMD Phenom 2x4 945 3 GHz being the highest 95w processor which I bought from eBay for 50 bucks, and I have also purchased 640GB 7200 RPM 32MB hard drive and made a raid 0 at 32 bit which helps the speed dramatically. I have done all this 2 day back but I haven’t tried it because I didn’t get time, hope it my Phenom work on my mother board.

Do one thing open your task manager and look at your processor utilization and leave it running. Then open your game and start playing it. Now exit your game and look at the processor utilization and check what it shows.

Hey even I have done this kind modification tom my computer but not for gaming purpose I did because of overheating issue. I installed a Super Cyclone Fan mm's above the video card which exhausts a lot of air out and keeps the NVIDIA Geforce GTX 480 at 43c idle and full load over clocked at ultrasound scanner 1088v, 825mhz core, VCO 1435-1650MHz shader and 2100mhz memory at 89c. I use MSI graphic card booster afterburner and set fan to automatic control. I have put 80 mm and 30mm fan from my old PC. Now I don’t have the cooling issue, now the MB temp max out at 53c to 37c. but when I crank all the fans it is bit noise but bearable.

Yeah, the Phenom worked I tried AMD Phenom 2x4 945 3 GHz and got 480. I also traded in 600W for an enthusiast series Corsair TX650.thanks for your help and quick reply.
