When you try to recover from windows, ATI put some code into the disk to boot the recovery environment. If ATI fails to do so then the error is shown on the screen. Try to recover from the CD if you are not able to boot your system properly.
I am also not able to make recovery due to failure in the hard disk. I tried to boot with the recovery CD but got the error. Luckily I had another new hard disk , I installed the fresh copy of windows 7 and then installed the Acronis . I tried with restoring now and that worked. But when I try to boot from recovery disk it again shows a error. Do you guys have any information why is this happening?
why don’t you try bootable flash drive to make recovery instead of recovery CD? Also try changing hard disk setting for SATA to IDE and then see if you are able to boot from CD!
No. my BIOS don’t let me change the SATA to IDE. It automatically detects the SATA hard disk. I made the flash drive with ATIH utility. The system again showed me the same error and said press enter to boot. When I clicked the enter it started booting! I don’t understand this it booted perfectly after showing initial error.
