How to fix "LCD list needs to be updated" HP printer error

I used Hp printer on my system and now i found problem with the scanning process. When i simply try to scan using Hp printer, it shows error message "LCD list needs to be updated". I need to fix this error. How can i do it?? I'm looking helpful reply to fix error.

If you use printer with network, you necessary to send 'scan to' settings to printer. This will be work to update LCD list. For sending the scan to settings use below instructions.

• Go to HP Solution Center or HP Director and choose Settings option.
• In next hit Scan Settings option.
• Look software version, and select availabe option that comfortable with your software version/
• Click on Scan to opption.
• Hit Button settings.
• Choose Scan to... Setup.
• Follow on-screen instructions to make a destinations scans list.

Finally use simple scanning on your printer and looks its result. Use the printer control panel for this scanning process. It fix your problem.

Yes, this is best way that works to fix the problem. BUt if you not able to fix your problem simply turn off and turn on your printer. Its also alternative solutions for you. For additionally you can also go to SETTINGS-> TOOLS and choose RESTORE FACTORY DEFAULT option. It restore all printer setting to its default stage. This are the temporary solutions and sometimes, we need to try it on system for better result.
