3 Power supply blew up after upgrade Intel E6300 to Intel Core i5-2400 Sandy Bridge

I used Intel E6300 processor on my system for last six month and because of some problem, i upgraded it to Intel Core i5-2400 Sandy Bridge. after finishing this upgrade, i found that the three power supply blew up. I used silverstone 450w, Cooler 520w Green and Seasonic Bronze 620w with sandy bridge but all three goes failure. I used it on my asus eee PC and it always goes failure. I never faced any power supply problem with the Intel E6300. But this Intel Core i5-2400 Sandy Bridge makes problem regularly. I used switch on the individual multi-socket. Can you describe few things about it?? Thanks for any such help.

Most decent PSUs will handle between 110-250V automatically. So, i don't think that there is any power supply source problem exist here. If you already set the power setting manually on your system, definitely it gives such issues. If you already did it, try to set all power setting as default state. Use any way such as BIOS reset, resetting or any other way but set such power setting to its default stage. Its well for you to fix this power problem.

Confirm that the multi socket extension is faulty or not. If yes, you need to simply replace this multisocket on your system. This is well for you to fix your problem. Try this and check its result.

get an qualified electrician to test the power supply cable and many other things of this power supply. It will be works to detect the real problem if it exist in power cables. Also test the power supply you selected for power source is provide proper power connections to the connected output devices. If you think that the power supply you choose is compatible with Intel Core i5-2400 Sandy Bridge processor then only use it. Otherwise don't use it.
