    Why SetPoint readds the deleted managed programs after restart?

    I am using SetPoint with UberOptions. I noticed an interesting thing when I remove the Mozilla Firefox from the programs list it simply reading the same on my system as I am restarting SetPoint on my system. can you tell me any suggestion on the above mentioned steps??

    you have to reinstalled the UberOptions on the system of yours. hence in order to remove the default program profiles you have to select No AppOverrides defaults.

    If you are running with SetPoint 3.30 on the Windows XP than the pointing device will be available at the C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Logitech\SetPoint\Devices\PointingDevice\10000xx\10000xx.xml
    Note that XX is dependent on model number which you are using.
    From the user.xml file you will see following line
    Code:
    <Device DisplayName="MediaPlay Cordless Mouse" Class="PointingDevice" Model="16777281" NumberOfButtons="14" ConnectionID="">
    You have to remove the AppOverride blocks from r device's defaults and shut the SetPoint on your computer. after that delete the user.xml settings file and again restart the SetPoint for the new defaults and also recreate the user.xml.
