What operating system is being installed on the computer? which version of the mouse driver do you have installed? Let me know if you have done any changes on the computer? what was the output when you have plugged and unplugged the PS2 mouse?

You can use the following steps to update the BIOS on the computer.
    • You have to boot the computer and check for the version of the BIOS installed.
    • Now press Del from the keyboard to enter into the setup. Now you have to hit F8 to enter the QFlash. I
    • It will load Q-Flash Utility v1.33 and it will display Flash Type/Size WINBOND 49F002U 256K.
    • Now you have to save the BIOS as backup on CD or some other external storage device.
    • After that update the BIOS and select 7VM400M.FD and hit enter from the keyboard.
    • You will get an error message on the computer screen and it will get disappear automatically.
    • Now you have to press Esc and see whether it is working or not.

In this particular situation I wanted to tell you that you should try to plug any other mouse on the system so that you can get the idea whether there is an issue with the mouse or the system which you are having. Also you can plug the mouse on the other computer to identify the culprit.
