| Re: Ide DVD writer is not showing in bios
What is the make or model of the dvd writer that you have? Did you check properly whether the cable for the ide writer is firmly attached to motherboard, cause it could be a cable problem as well? What about device manager, is it recognized in the same? How old is the dvd writer? Have you tried connecting it on some other pc to see if it works or not?
