Computer shuts down if i tilt, bump

I'm stuck, here recently my computer keeps shutting off usually. If i bump my case or tilt it back / forth randomly, then it happens. I've determined it is movement/vibration/bumping that causes the shut-down, and not heat or malware. I just wanted to know if I’ve come to the correct conclusion, how i can find the short or problem. Ok, I will tell you that I use DELL 8200 Dimension desktop system and the other basic configurations of this system are as follows:

• CPU: Intel Pentium 4 microprocessor 2.40 GHz
• OS: Windows XP
• RAM: 512-MB non-ECC SDRAM

As per the configuration you mentioned here you need to check the connectivity within the system RAM and the motherboard.
