no printing preferences with hp color LaserJet 5550

Hi All

I have a printer hp color LaserJet 5550


All the color catrigdes are finished and left only with the black catridege, there is the following error on the printer replace supplies.

Ther are not printing preferences on this printer.

If I print two pages, it prints one page and then I have to open top cover of the printer and only it prints the second page. Im almost fed up.

Please help.

I was also having similar kind of problem. I think it could be related to some spyware I removed a couple of weeks ago. Since then I cannot access printer properties or preferences. The only solution I have had suggested so far is to reinstall windows, either fully, or using a 'repair' installation.
