How to install HP 2600n printer on 2008 R2 Server

I have 2600n printers. I am setting up a Windows Server 2008 R2 Print Server. I have installed about 10 printers at present, but now I facing problem with the 2600n printer, of which we got a few on our arrangement. The HP Universal print driver tries not to appear to work. We have mix of 64bit computers which is designing with bunches of ram and customary office desktops that are 32bit, in a jumbled environment of Windows XP for both 32 and 64 and Windows 7. How do I get this printer installed on 2008 R2 Server so it can share/serve both 32 and 64 bit desktops? Can anyone give me some suggestion on this please help me.

Here I am giving you some information on your topic but I am not sure this will help you or not. I have some experience related about this. I simply set up Server 2008 R2 Terminal Server 64-cycle set up with Print Management part. The greater part of my users gets the Remote Desktop Easy Print printer redirection, but some users who have HP printers get NO printer redirection whatsoever. The printers are the HP Laserjet 4200, HP p3005, HP Laserjet p2035 PLC 6/PCL5/PS, even some with the new Universal Print Driver. All users have .NET3.5 SP1 and are utilizing RDP Client 6.0, 6.1 or 7.0 as needed for Easy Print. We cannot resolve why ONLY the HP printers miss the mark to guide a redirected Easy Print while all different printers we utilize (Brother, OCE, Konica/Minotla, Dell and others) get the Easy Print driver with no issue. We would like to begin install print drivers on this late server; subsequent to HP drivers have hosed up our Server 2003 R2 servers.

I need to inquire that is it accurate to say that you are utilizing bunch policies to push the printers out? In the event that thus, double click watch that AD (in particular FRS) is running perfect. Check customer PC occasion logs for GPO failures moreover. I found this to be the root source to a few of our printers and printer drivers not being pushed/installed truly bringing about diverse issues.

You can utilize the Windows 7 x64 printer driver which is easily available on the web.

I also have had tremendous problems installing HP printers on server 2003 & 2008 not on a committed print server but on an across the board utilize terminal server. My workaround was to delineate HP LaserJet 4 drivers to the printer then after that trick windows into speculation it is the right driver by altering the WTSUPRN.inf index.
