my Acer Aspire 5755G is not reading USB flash drive.

I am using Acer Aspire 5755G from the last few weeks and now I am getting some problem while connecting the USB flash drive. My Acer Aspire 5755G One has Windows 7 Starter, will not read my USB flash drive. I even bought a new flash drive to see if they recognize the new. Not so. How I can make my computer recognize the flash drive?

First tell me that Have you tried multiple USB ports or just one? Does Windows detects all and not only allow you to access it? You see the message new hardware found? What other USB devices, a USB mouse or keyboard working.

for doing this thing you will need to change the following setting to your system:
start-->control panel-->system and security-->device manager-->expand the universal serial bus controllers-->right click and uninstall all of the USB root hubs-->restart-->they will reinstall on restart, and search for attached hardware.

in this case I will suggest you the Device Troubleshooter, the steps are given as below:
Start > Control Panel > search "troubleshooter" and then click "Troubleshooting" > Hardware and Sound > Configure a Device.

Same problem with my Acer netbook. I had tried with a USB mouse and USB devices and others. None of the USB ports are working more. So please can you suggest me more reason about this, I am facing this problem from the last few weeks. If you are having the same problem then also report me on this forums.
