WD5000BEVT-22A0RT0 Freezes randomly

I have an Acer 7741G with a WDC WD5000BEVT-22A0RT0.The hard drive "sticks" at least every three minutes, but often more frequently and always takes a few seconds until the computer "wake up" again. It is as if the computer freezes. Acer said it would support a new energy-saving mode WD-HD, and it might not be a tool or firmware to change the behavior. U can help me please? This function makes a good performance really impossible.

Test with DLG in case .However, only directly WD can say that if they have a new firmware for the unit or not, it is not their download section, if it still exists.

First, check the charge / discharge cycles and number of hours on having a full SMART utility.
