drive ST3500620AS has stopped working in 7200.11 Seagate Barracuda

Hello guys I have been using HP slimline s3480a and I have found some problem with its Barracuda 7200.11, suddenly the drive ST3500620AS has stopped working and has kept me blank with what to do absolutely no idea with this? I don’t know what has caused this problem and I want some suggestion from you guys if anyone have experienced it or have even heard about it please suggest me with any suggestion I would be really appreciating it?

Hey friend I have been facing the same problem and I too don’t have any idea what is wrong with this and have absolutely no idea and I don’t know what to do now and I have been working very hard with this and have been searching a lot but haven’t found any solution nor any of my friends have been able to help me out so I think this is a very big problem for me too I am too hoping some solution over here and get this problem solved quickly.

Hello when I faced this problem the situation was like the computer was constantly freezing and the hard drive suddenly stopped working after some time and then bios came up and left me with no clue and it showed me the error of BIOSHD-2 error and after a search I found that there was and firmware which was capable of solving this problem and it gave helped me to access to the data again and there was no error again and I think that firmware is HP13 Rev. A

Yap this is the only solution for this problem when I faced the same problem I too updated with the firmware HP13 Rev. A and it did solved all my problem so I think you too need it search for it download it and install it that would be giving you your flawless pc again, it has been released on 23 Apr 2009 and it would be the flawless firmware, and they have been only developed for the Seagate ST3500620AS Hard Drives and they work with the supporting desktops only and workstation models that are running a supported operating system so get them and solve the problem.

The problem with this firmware error is that most people think your unit is dead. It is not. The data is still there, the unit still works really well. The ruling puts the disc in a locked state permanently occupied. You just need someone who knows how to unbrick for you. You do not need a new hardrive. And sadly I've heard thousands of stories of people who have to get a new unit on this. You do not need a new one. All it takes is the right person for the job.

Hey called up my engineer asked him to solve this and he said the same thing which was been discussed over here and then he resolved it and now everything is working fine, i just followed that i should not do anything my self if i don't have a much knowledge about this, so i wanted to be careful with it anyways the best thing is my problem is solved and i just needed that too but your efforts are really appreciated
