After swapping buttons left hand deathadder is not working properly

Hi few days back I had purchased new razer mouse, and this is my first razer. As been left handed I have purchased the left hand edition of deathadder. As to play the games much easier I had tried swapping the click buttons with the menu button, so that left click can be my primary click and right click as my menu click. However after swapping them around, I found that neither buttons were working properly.

Hi even I am looking for a similar kind of answer, on how to swap these buttons? As being left handed person it would be great if I could have controls over mouse using the left hand, as after hearing that the new razer deathadder mouse has this option so I bought this particular mouse, but I couldn’t figure it out to how to swap these buttons? Please share your ideas about it. Thank you.

Hi I know what exact is the problem as even I had this particular problem with my deathadder. But then I found that the actual problem was with the 3.0.2 driver. As after installing the 3.0.2 driver I was not able to swap the buttons, as I started getting errors on the vddaemon.exe file, then I realized that 3.0.2 driver was the only problem for left hander mouse, so I had uninstalled 3.0.2 driver and reinstalled the old drivers i.e. 3.0 drivers and it is working fine then after.

Hi thanks for your suggestion I appreciate it. As you said to reinstall the older driver version, so I had uninstalled the new driver version i.e. 3.0.2 driver and downloaded the older version i.e. 3.0 driver but even after installing the older driver the swap buttons were not working properly!!! I think that there is some other problem. Don’t know what to do!

Well after searching through many solutions I tried searching around in the configuration menu that assuming that anything that can work out. However, even after re configuring the settings I was not able to make the swap correct. Am I making some mistakes in configuring the swapping buttons settings? Does anyone know how to do it?

Please follow the below procedure:
For Windows XP, 2003
• Go to Start select Control Panel
• open mouse properties, at the control panel
• Now check Switch Primary and Secondary Buttons setting.
• Click on OK and you are done. -
For Windows Vista
• Go to Start select Control Panel.
• Click on Hardware and Sound at the control panel,
• In the Hardware and Sound window, click on the Mouse and open the mouse properties.
• Now, simply check the Switch primary and secondary buttons setting and
• Click on OK.
