Check properly whether the both hard disk is properly installed on computer. The entire driver are available, specially a Storage driver. Reboot system and hit “delete” key to enter in bios and verify that the both hard drive is detected and showing proper space and capability of hard disk. If not then try it by replacing cable. And start windows normally and see whether it is detected or not . if not then the hard drive may have damage

Verify all bios setting and config it properly. Open the mange console from my computer (Right click on my computer  Manage) select the disk management there you will be able to see the hard drive that are installed on your computer. The status showed by healthy mean the drive having Operating System. We cannot format this drive, select the second one right click on that select format the option is available “Quick format” Or “slow format” depending upon yourself you can choose your option. And precede format. This may take a several minute to get complete

Open manage console and select disk management and right click on drive which you want to format. If windows has successfully completed the format then drive is ready to use you can now access the drive completely. If this not worked then open the run command by startrun (win logo+ R) typr”cmd” a command prompt will get opened and use the following command “ Format x:” where x is drive letter which you want to format. This technique you can use to format your flash or pen drive.

Use the disk manager disk (DM) which is normally used to manage the disk drive. This is bootable disk which test our drive and end with particular code if any error has detected. Verify that your hard disk is showing full space and normal in status. If not then check that jumper may not placed at wrong place and fix jumper setting, this may solve your issue. If you same facing problem then go for hard drive replacement if in warranty.

Remove your primary hard disk from your system and attached second one to it and make jumper setting to master. Insert the bootable Windows disk into drive and proceed for formatting drive. If windows are able to format drive completely then don’t worry format it now place the both drive and set first drive set it primary now boot from appropriate drive. Now verify that the drive is ready now. If drive fails to format then go for replacement, your hard disk has been crashed.
