How to detect flash memory errors???

Guys we are in the world where the technology is more and more nuclear and it is also becoming more cheaper. So I chose an option to buy a brand new flash drive with 32 GB. It is a corsair’s flash drive. it works really nice, and speed of transmission is really great. So I always think that this flash drive should not get easily infected and if gets infected then I must come to know before it affects my system or any other folder in the PC. I am having workshop at my home itself where I make repairs of computers. And also sell the computers. So I want a such tool which can make me aware whether the flash drive is working problem or not. And also about its infections. So that I can also make my clients so much delighted by providing such tool along with the flash drive which I sell.

Dude, I think after using such portable device you have completely forgot the way of scanning for errors and malware infections through your personal computer’s chkdsk function. This chkdsk function can check your removable storage device for errors. You can even scan this portable device on the laptops etc. at the same tome there so many anti- malware software which may check your disk for the errors as well as some unknown infections.

Yes rightly said my friend, why there should be any specialized scanning agent when there is highly strong backup and scanning application such as chkdsk. There are so many anti-viruses are available in the market such as Quick heal, AVG, Norton security, Mcafee antivirus software etc. all these or such ant viruses are used on the system as well as they directly scan these portable devices. So you can choose one of them as your disk security agent.

If you are thinking that your data should not get harmed at all on the system then you can change the use of the O/S from Windows O/S to any of the Linux O/S like MAC O/S, red hat Linux, suse Linux, mandrake Linux etc. these o/s’s have less intensity to get affected by any malwares. As they are based on the UNIX file system. So always prefer using such operating systems. So always check for the errors using your personal computers.

Really thank you for giving such suggestions regarding the data encryptions or any other related security alternatives. Actually I was confused about what to do with the data infections. If my precious data in the computer gets infected it will cause hair-loss to me. So from next time I will use my personal computer for data checkup for errors. I think personal computer will give me relief from errors etc. and I am planning to use UNIX based o/s to be installed on my system so that my existing data will be more secure.
