How to attach a 3.5" HDD into the 5.25" DVD Drive bay in the cabinet?

    Hi everyone

The hard disk bay of my computer cabinet has the capacity for only two hard disks. I have already attached two hard disks there. Now I want to attach a third hard disk but there is no space left in the hard disk bay but there is a lot of space in the CD Drive bay. So is there any way by which I can attach a 3.5" HDD into the 5.25" wide bay in the computer cabinet that is meant for CD Rom Drive ?
I don't want to purchase anything online. I live in Hyderabad city in India. So please suggest something that can be obtained from computer shops in India, like some brackets or mountings for this purpose. Or please suggest some alternate way to do this.

    Thanks in advance.

Yes it is pretty much possible to connect your 3.5" HDD into the 5.25" wide bay of CD Rom Drive. But for that you need to make sure that both the HDD and the CD Rom Drive either belongs to IDE or SATA. If they both are of different types then they both will probably won't get connected. But i would rather suggest you to use an external storage device instead of trying to connect your 3.5" HDD in the 5.25" wide bay of CD Rom Drive. The external Storage device can be connected using USB 2.0, USB 3.0, FireWire 400, FireWire 800, and eSATA. Mostly all the external Storage device needs only one cable for both data and power connections.
