Driver for HP Deskjet F4288 All-In-One Printer

just a few days ago i brought home a hp desktop and there was a scheme going on with it i got the HP Desk-jet F4288 All-In-One Printer for free but i am not able to make it work as there is no driver disk with me the one that came with the printer was damaged and so i have been unable to use the printer ever since so i have come here to find a way to get the printer working. by the way i have searched through the hp website and there i was unable to find any for the printer please help me find the drivers for my printer.

always make sure if you are buying anything that every thing is correctly packed to avoid damage of the devices. this printer is not only your problem but it seems that it is not compatible with windows vista and has great problem and is a pain for all the vista users the printer is said to be the best one of its kind but the issues with it just can not be solved i hope hp will provide updates for the printer soon.

congrats that is a sweet deal you got and HP Desk-jet F4288 All-In-One is a great printer all you got to do is go to the hp website and try looking for the drivers there and look to find the driver for HP Desk-jet F4200 series HP All-In-One choose the appropriate operating system and for you if i am not mistaken its windows xp choose that in the drop box and then click on download it. then after downloading install the drivers to the computer and enjoy your new printer i hope this much will suffice and you will be able to use the printer.enjoy!

i have also bought it and i do not have any such problems with it thanks to god this is the best printer i own. i have all the drivers on its original disk. i use the HP Desk-jet F4288 All-In-One just for printing and other then the printing the other features are very less used. but i am still happy with it it makes my work really easy and come very handy when you are in the middle of something and you need a print.

i think people should avoid going for such All-In-One stuff because even if only one component of the system breaks down the the printer turns into a box with many flaps and nothing else and even though only one of the component is gone bad you will have to give the whole laptop to the service center for repair that can be a hassle just because the of one component the printer proves to be useless and has too many risk factors.

yes one must always prefer to go for different printer and scannerthat way if any one becomes fauly you can give it to repair while the other one works just fine. but do not feel angry i dont have any thing against the printer but its just the is so much work to do and if you do not do it will lead to error.the printer you have bought is great for small houses\offices but if you have the place to spare there is no choice other then an all in one.
