    Need opinions on Corsair AX1200

Hello guys, I am considering replacing my HX1000W through a new AX1200.. My financial statement is under $ 300. I require at least 1000w, nevertheless would choose a little more. What has been your familiarity in the company of this power supply? I've heard things like the fan can be loud, sometimes - not a fan of loud fans. I also heard that you cannot complain of the coil when the PC is off. What have been your experiences on these issues?

Why do you necessitate 1,000 watts? According to my knowledge your computer does not need more than 750 watts unless you plan to upgrade your motherboard and / or CPU to do tri-SLI. Or are you thinking about on dual 590 or dual 6990 or 6990 + 6970. Complain of the coil is a matter of luck. The fans on good power supplies are hardly ever audible in most conditions. I have yet to hear my fan turn the power supply, even in simultaneous Furmark and lynx.

Two 580's is without difficulty taken care of resting on an 850 watt, and completely superior in the company of a 750 watt. Similar to I said, through that motherboard setup, you would contain to be with two 590's or two 6990's to substantiate a 1000+ watt power supply. And the 590's/6990's are required to be profoundly overclocked to breach 1000 watt system utilization. I hope now you are clear with your doubt. Thank you.

The AX1200 is an immense psu in the company of true modular cables and satisfactorily made. Fit and fail to remember to power your potential upgrade plans. The fan runs complete blast as soon as I power the system on. It bit by bit scales itself down the longer it sprints. By the time it digs up to windows it is silent. I have not at all pay attention to any noise from mine as soon as it off. If you are still confused then you can search it about on internet. Thank you.

Hello according to me, Mine has been flawless commencing at the moment, haven't move forward wattage pass 600w in the company of the existing setup. On the other hand, this summer I plan on performing a service through moreover SB or bulldozer a lot overclocked w/ 16 gigs of ram and in any case 6970 CFX or probably 6990 + 6970. Subsequently I am able to comment on possible complain noise through that a lot power draw.

The Ultra X3 make use of a flat ribbon similar to cable that was fundamentally two 12-wire cables positioned adjacent to each other. The cable was relatively flexible and possibly will be routed some which-a-way straightforwardly. I do become conscious why Corsair and others don't go absolutely through that design; it sounds as if Ultra takes legal action other vendors in support of using their original "flex-cable" design.
