    ASUS G60JX audio card does not work because of drivers

    I had been using ASUS G60JX laptop system since a very long time. Recently when I tried to play music files to hear some good music I was unable to hear out from the speaker. After giving it a long try I came to know that there is some other problem related to my audio drivers. After this I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers for my audio device but I was unable to find the solution for this. Main problem is associated with my Realtek audio drivers which I tried my best to give it a try so that it will work fine. But I was not successful in it. Can anyone help me out from in resolving this issue of mine?

    You can try to download latest drivers for your laptop. If you are using Vista or Windows 7 operating system try downloading version of Realtek 6.0.1.5995. For this you will just need to type Realtek audio driver 6.0.1.5995 in the Google search bar or any other search engine you are using. After downloading it you will just need to run the software for it and I hope it might clear your issues with regards to your audio drivers.

    For updating your drivers related to the audio device following are the instructions given below:

    1. Right click on my computer icon
    2. Go to properties
    3. Go to hardware
    4. Click on device manager
    5. From the list given to you select and open the audio drivers
    6. Select update drivers
    7. Let it automatically update the drivers
    8. Click on apply
    9. Click on OK

    Well I had the same problem occurred sometime back on to my system. For this I found out that these models of ASUS are faulty. My system was in warranty I tried calling them and they helped me out to overcome the solution. This problem occurred because of the faults in headphone jack on which the switch or the sensor was stuck and it taught that my headphones were plugged in. As I was having warranty for my laptop I gave them to repair it through and then I was having no problems in regards to its audio device.
