Add favorite channel using Logitech Harmony

I bought harmony remote controller some time back and in love with it as it work perfectly to my expectations and can controls my HDTV, DVD receiver, HDMI switcher, Apple TV and Cable set top box. Once a while I was watching a channel which I was always interested in so I taught to add it as one of my favorite channels. Using my harmony I was unable to add it as my favorite as I could not find any ways to which I can add a channel on it. I check its screen but here is not anything mention as favorite. Can I know how to add favorite channels using Harmony remote controller?

Check out into the manual which is given to you along with the Harmony remote controller. If you are unable to find the solution then following are the instructions you need to follow:

1. Press the favorite or media button
2. It will now appear on your remote screen
3. For selecting any channel press the button associated with it.

On some of the Harmony remote controller favorite button is given and to others media is given. You need to press the button and then add it to your favorite channel.

For adding up favorite channels by using your Harmony remote following are the instructions given:

1. Run the Harmony remote software
2. Click on activities
3. Select the activity to add it to your favorite channel
4. Click on settings button
5. Go to setup favorite channel and add icons
6. Click on next
7. Press channel number
8. Type name for the channel
9. Select on select image button
10. List of channel logos will appear now
11. Select the image for logo
12. Or go to browse to upload the thumbnail for it
13. Click on save
14. Click on done
15. Update the changes done to your remote

Now, to access the favorite channels you need to press favorite button which is on your screen.

I know that the some of you might experience problems related to it as your model might be different as said in the above mention solutions. For this you will need to follow the instructions given below:

1. Open the Harmony remote software
2. Select the activity tab
3. watch the TV channel you want to add as favorite
4. Click on options
5. Select on setup favorite channel
6. Follow the instructions been provided to you

For using this function you need to click on favorite button given at the left bottom corner while you are in the Watch TV activity. After doing this just press the button associated with the channel.
