Logitech Software cannot recognized my Logitech QuickCam camera

After a long try of installing and uninstalling my Logitech QuickCam Webcam I was unable to install my web camera on my PC. I had checked the manual and installed it as it was given in installation section. After a long time giving it a try on making things work out it does not install it. It does not displays any camera installed on my PC system instead whenever I check in Device manager it gives add hardware notification. I have Windows XP Service pack 2 installed on my PC system which is 32-bit. Please help!!

For your Logitech QuickCam web camera, I guess you need to install Logitech Webcam Software 1.00.1280 which is also known as QuickCam 12.00.1280.

May be your camera is faulty, for this purpose you need to go to your vendor support and request for another replacement. Provided it should be in the warranty period. Check for warranty prior you go to the office or give a call to the support staff of your vendor. Give them the required details and they will help you in solving your queries.
