Webcam Pro 9000 does not supports microphone on Windows Vista

I had installed Windows Vista home Premium SP2 on my Dell Inspiron 530 Desktop PC. Webcam was installed perfectly and works fine giving fine video output. But, at the same time I cannot get my microphone to work. Its icon in the device manager shows exclamation mark against it. Also, there is no driver selected for the device information. Realtek HD Audio is the only device which is shown as the only recording device in the system. I had tried changing generic USB device driver but there is no effect on it. Kindly help!!

Does this issue occur when the camera microphone is installed in Universal Audio Architecture (UAA) Class Mode? If so then kindly perform the following steps:
Step 1: Right click on your My Computer Icon
    Step 2: Go to properties
    Step 3: Select hardware
Step 4: Click on device manager
Step 5: Open sound, video and game controller section
Step 6: Highlight the camera name i.e. in your case Logitech mouse
Step 7: Go again to Device manager
    Step 8: Select Action
    Step 9: Update Driver
Step 10: Choose install from a list or specific location
    Step 11: Click on Next
Step 12: Choose on Don’t search, I will choose the driver to install
    Step 13: Click on next
Step 14: Select Generic USB Audio
Step 15: Select USB Audio Device
    Step 16: Click on next
    Step 17: Click on finish

    Step 5: Click on properties
Step 6: Go to Advanced Tab
Step 7: In default format box scroll down menu having default selection of 48kHZ
Step 8: Changed the default selection to 16kHz

To prevent hard drive crashes, device driver conflicts and fatal error messages - you should make sure the Logitech Mic (Webcam Pro 9000) driver you install on your system - is the proper driver matching your hardware needs. To download the correct Logitech Mic (Webcam Pro 9000) driver matching your hardware - please use a reputable driver update utility such as Driver Genius which can instantly scan your system and detect any hardware device you have installed, while matching each of them with the most current official manufacturer driver.
