Which one of them are better HP ZR24W, NEC EA231wmi and Dell U2410

I am thinking to buy a new 24 inch IPS monitor and for that purpose I just checked out few options to see which one I can buy. After checking those out I have three monitors in my mind. They are HP ZR24W, NEC EA231wmi and Dell U2410.Currently I am using a Dell 2007wfp and I am getting some problems with it. Also the other reason for the switch is because I want a monitor of a bigger size. So do you have any suggestions on which I should go? Please tell me as I want to but it quite immediately.

I think that your Dell 2007 wfp’s successor should be Dell U2410.The major reason for that is the warranty of Dell is great. Even I am using Dell from many years and I have a very good experience of it. One day I was facing from a problem. The problem was that my usb port suddenly stopped working for some reason. Then I called those guys and complained them about it. To my surprise they brought me a new monitor. So that was really great. So I would suggest you to go for Dell U2410.

According to me it all depends on the usage of your system. As you have mentioned that you use a IPS screen I feel that you are not a gamer. I think that you should go with Dell U2410. It will give you more video input and has a good display as well. The HP ZR24W is also a good choice. But the drawback of HP is that they don’t possess a good warranty periods. If feel that the NEC EA231wmi won’t be a good choice as they are too expensive. So eventually for me you should go with Dell U2410.

I feel that you should go for the HP ZR24W.If you have a look at it cost wise then it’s a little expensive than NEC EA231wmi but it’s worthy enough to buy. And it’s actually cheaper than Dell U2410.It also has great colors as compared to other two. Also it has good black levels and contrasts which I feel are again are its great points. If you consider the response time and the input lag then they too are quite healthy too. The IPS viewing angles are great and more importantly you will get the kid of screen you want .So I would suggest you to surely go for the HP ZR24W.

I am having the NEC EA231wmi and it has a better contrast ratio and black levels than what HP has but the problem with NEC is that it has bad brightness uniformity. Also some people have complained about color tinting on the NEC EA231WMi which according to me is a major problem. But if you look at HP then I haven't seen any complaints about that for the HP ZR24W. So if you have a look at NEC EA231wmi and HP ZR24W then the later one is a good option. So even I would suggest you to go for HP EA231wmi.

Thank you for all your solutions and suggestion that you have provided me. Even I think I can remove the NEC due to the ratio and bad brightness uniformity. Now as far as the HP against Dell is concerned I don't use my USB ports on the dell I have. If you consider the screen quality then they are they basically the same. So for me HP seems like the way to go just because the price is lower as compared to Dell. Also I am coming from a dell 2007wfp so I am thinking of a change. Also I don't do any Photo shop editing so I guess I would rather go for HP ZR24W. I would once again like to thank you for your solutions that you have provided me.
