    Build desktop for Adobe Photoshop

    I want to build a new desktop computer system which I am gonna be using specially for photo and video editing. For this purpose, I would be using an Adobe Photoshop. And some more uses of this machine would be for surfing through an internet and watching movies and other entertainment purposes. Can you people suggest me some best configurations that would be suitable for such purposes.

    For those who only graphics, Windows is really annoying with its updates and all that waste of memory. I am running Windows and it bothers me to leave my Tablet PC, taken with my Leica and Nikon capture the stylus while clamped here on my tripod for panos inside, but never mind! For the office what I am proposing is downright PC me Sort this out yourself by my list of components so that, it breaks me A LOT!

    According to me, You should buy a computer system with the following configurations as it is the best one that you can use for video editing. And one your machine is perfect for video editing then there is nothing to think about an image editing as it is never more that that of tweaking up with the videos. Though you may choose some other processor or motherboard but I recommend you not to change the graphic card.

    • Motherboard: ASUSTeK A7V8X-X REV 1.xx
    • Proc: AMD Athlon (TM) XP 1700 + (1466Mhz) (L1: 128KB L2: 256K)
    • Memory: 768MB DDR
    • HDD: 40gig ide in course, with 2MB buffer.
    • And a GeForce FX 5700LE for display.

    Sandy Bridge Specifications, these specifications had similarities with the CPU Gulftown:

    * Successor of Nehalem architecture, features new techniques for etching 32nm and first CPU to use the latest technology for reducing leakage current than we had heard in 2005 and 2006 (see: Topic news on technology, processes and discoveries)
    * 4 to 8 cores
    * New instruction set AVX (Advanced Vector Extension), is actually a replacement for SBS which is working on 256 bits, not 128, and see greatly increased efficiency and to work on three operands.
    Without SSE *: 8 DP GFLOPS / (Core 2 DP FP / clock), 32-64 DP Gflops / processor.
    With SSE *: 32 Gflops DP / (DP FP 8 core / clock), 128-256 DP Gflops / processor.
    * 80 KB of L1 cache / core (32 KB L1 instruction, 32 KB L1 cache and 16 KB of data by a decoder core), (3 clocks).
    * "Trace Cache" is back in this version
    * 512 KB L2 cache / core, (9 clocks).
    * 2-3 MB L3 cache / core (8-24 MB total) (33 clocks)
    * 64 bytes cache line width.
    * 256 bytes / cycle Ring bus bandwidth. The bus connects the cores.
    * 0-512 MB GDDR / DRAM fast.
    * 64 Gb / s GDDR / DRAM bandwidth.
    * 17 GB / s memory bandwidth per link QuickPath with a latency of only 50 nanoseconds!
