how to get my integrated webcam to work

I have had a compaq laptop today with windows 7, and i cannot get my integrated webcam to work, how do i get it to work?

What exactly is the problem you are facing with the webcam ? I meant, do you get any error while using webcam or you don't know how make it on ? Just FYI, there might some sort of program for utilizing integrated camera of your laptop. That program differs laptop to laptop. For more info, you can just go through this discussion:

i do not know the right area to post this but i wanted to know if there was a way i can check if someone has there webcam on on AIM. I think my fiance is putting on webcam shows when i am not there and i want to know. I have almost no access to her computer because she is in school and she never brings it home with her.
