Intel cuts SSD prices: new 120 GB X25 model

I heard that Intel cuts the SSD prices of new 120 GB X25 model. Is it true? I am being unsure how the 120 GB will execute in evaluated to the other. I suppose the 160 benches improved than the 80 therefore I speculate where it will fall. Still I am thought that is this true? Anyone have any more detail about this or anyone heard about this? If yes then must share with me, because I am waiting to know more about it and wanted to use it. But before this just want to conform that this is true or any fake news is this.

Intel is attempting to give confidence geeks all over the place to add an SSD to their PCs this holiday period by cutting prices and launching a brand new 120GB model to its X-25M line. The 80 GB X25 M drive currently has a recommended retail price of 9000 INR while the 160 GB drive has been felled to 17000 INR. But the sweet spot for lots of PC builders may come in the shape of a latest 120 GB model which costs 2000 INR more than the 80 GB drive at 11000 INR. Even Intel admits it is the most excellent value drive they present in the X25 M range.

The X25 M is Intel’s normal range of drives presenting up to 250 MBs read speeds and between, 70 to 100 MBs write speeds depending on the size of drive, bigger drive means quicker writes. Read latency is 65 ms, life suspense is 12 million MTBD, and smart comes as standard. Troy Winslow, director of product marketing for the Intel NAND Solutions, made it obvious this price cut was to obtain people import SSD as gifts this year.
