Power supply wattage for dell xps 400

Friends, I want to buy a graphic card. I am wondering between 7800 video card and a 6800 video card. Can you tell me that which one will be better to handle on Dell xps400 system? If there is anyone with Dell xps400 and using the graphic card then please share your experience with me. Please reply as early as possible. I am waiting for your reply. Thank you.

I would like to suggest you the 7800GTX as the better option. I am not using this but I have checked this at configurator on dell.com. That shows the 7800GTX as the better option. You should also check for your PSU so that it provides the proper power supply to it. So don’t wonder much and directly go for 7800GTX video card.

I have a nice experience with the Dell laptop because I am using this from a long time. I would like to tell you that PSU which is there in the system that a tech makes use of to send out a substitute PSU if any customer wanted it. If you want then you can read the Manual. If you see that then you will find that the xps 400 and 9150 are the similar except that one (xps 400) is put up for sale in the home and home office and gaming site wherever as the 9150 is put up for sale in small business and up.

I think that 7800GTX is the good option for you. I am also having the same laptop. I am using the 7800GTX video card and found that it is good to use. I can play all the high graphics game with this and all that run very smoothly. I don’t have much knowledge about 6800 but I can say that you can buy 7800GTX without any fear.
