First you have to run Delete Print Jobs to take away several stuck print jobs in the queue. Then disconnect the printer .Download and run the patch (printer cleanup utility) until it without delay tells you to start again your computer. Then Restart your PC. Confirm that the printer is removed Manual Printer Driver Removal Download the Vista 32-bit drivers and install the Vista 32-bit drivers in the Compatibility mode. You will get a message that the printer is disconnected. Connect the printer at this time or powered on.

I have the same difficulty. Dell told me I require a new printer, that it is not a software issues, even though the whole thing worked as a copier, but it could not print 2 documents in a row. Now I provide it one document, being definite it is idle or ready. I wait till the printer icon goes off in the tray before printing a second document or else it “jams" and cannot delete the final document or print it. If this happens reboot and the document will print when the computer restarts. Definitely there is a better solution to this but I cannot get it.

Whenever you vary from one version to new version of Windows, you require to install drivers for printers, scanners, video cards, etc., that have been written for that new version of Windows. And as well note that you require dissimilar drivers for a 32-bit version of Windows and a 64-bit version. It is up to the manufacturer of the hardware to write and make accessible for download those drivers. Mostly if your hardware is older, it may well be that the maker has determined that it is not worth his time and attempt to build up drivers for hardware that he is no longer selling. Check with the maker or on their web site to notice if a drive exists. If it doesn't, you're out of luck. So in the future, before you do such an upgrade, be sure that you have done the suitable research to get out what drivers do not exist, and therefore what hardware you will have to swap if you upgrade.

Do System Restore in Safe Mode, if not capable of doing in safe mode.then you can Do it in Normal Mode. Attempt tapping F8 at startup, and then from the list of startup collections, select Safe Mode by by means of UP Arrow Key to go there after those press Enter. Attempt a System Restore only one time there, to pick a Restore Point previous to your difficulty. Then Click Start followed by Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore > pick a different time > Next > etc. If the above instruction does not work: Try Uninstalling/Reinstalling the Printer. And confirm that you have the latest Printer Drivers downloaded from the Printer producer website, not from Windows Update.
