I have just got an OCZ Vertex 120 Solid State Disk and now I want to install windows 7 operating system. I came to know that paging file have to shift to an additional Hard Disk Drive, is that right? I don’t know how to get TRIM on the Vertex? If anyone has an idea about this related topic please suggest me so that I can able to solve my problem without any trouble. Thanking you in Advance.

For doing the setup of the solid state drive you go through this way.
Physically install the solid state drive to the first SATA port and disconnect the entire Hard Disk Drives.
    1. Reboot the system and in the bios place the "Storage Configuration".
    2. Run the Windows 7 install but only do a quick format.
    3. Once the installs complete in some order to suit you
      • Do your updates
      • Reconnect the other Hard Disk Drives and then copy the user data across that you want
      • Install the other software you want.

I think that before doing make sure you and check defrags is disabled for the Solid State Disk. To do this disable you can go to All Programs >> Accessories >> System Tools >> Disk Defragmenter and make sure that any partitions if you have put on your Solid State Drive are set to "never run". Or, if you are having third party defrags then make sure the settings for that is well.
