My CPU fan working(runs) but it wont boot

i had bought a new computer one year ago, but now i am facing a problem with it,its not working properly now.When i plug the ac the fan start up but when i press power button that time i am facing problem it wont boot.but if i try again and again sometime it will boot. so please help me on this.

i think this may be because of CMOS motherboard battery, because once i had also face same problem and that time i replace my CMOS battery with new one and my problem solved. if still it dosent work to you then i would see if there is a BIOS update out there. I think after checking all this thing your problem will be solved.

First i will suggest you that check your CMOS battery, if you have seen any problem in the battery like CMOS is dead then your BIOS setting cant load and because of that your system cant boot properly. so try to change your battery i think this will help you to come out of your problem.

I think it could be because of your CPU fan and heatsink are filled with dust.so please check that first if all is clear then it will be because of your battery problem as mention above so check that thing also.and if there is any problem then replace it with the new one,i know some technical expert say that your PC will boot after that also but i think if the CMOS battery is below 3.4 volts it may be creat a problem on booting.so check all the thing which i mention here i thing you will not facing that problem again.
