Having problems with my iball headphones

I am using Windows XP os on my home pc to which i have connected my iball headphones, I am facing annoying problem with using this headphones. When i am plugging this headphone to front i/o jacks then my pc recognize it but no sound comes from the headphone. I have installed creative 5.1 sound card on my pc. Speakers work perfectly on this pc. Please Help.

This is very familiar problem ,I've come across such type of problem previously in my laptop .If you have problem with your head phone, voice is not coming in headphone when you are plugging in your laptop or Pc. some time we forget to check that our volume level is low, firstly check whether the volume of the head phone is not set at the low level.

I have faced this same problem with my i ball Head Phone when i plugging my headphone to my PC with Windows XP. There is simple solution of that when you don't get sound from head phone. The following step could help you to overcome on your problem.
1) open the volume control below right side of the task bar .
2) make sure that none of the check box is marked .
3)if it is check please uncheck it.

I have endure lot about this kind of problem with my iball headphone on my pc with windows XP. Some times the front input jack of headphone is not connected to the motherboard properly , that is why the front jack for headphone is not going to work, so i had try the back input jack which was in green colors it was working for my head phone,it work for the speaker also but my headphone wire was not very long enough to sit comfortably by putting it on backside.
