Inspiron 530 Takes 15-20 minutes to boot after power failure

I have recently installed windows 7 on my dell inspiron 530. The system was lightning fast again. Last week i have power failure and i do not have bettery backup system. After failure when i start my system it take almost 20 min to boot. It spends almost two to three min on each screen. now i do not have any idea how to resolve it. The splash screen seems to load frame by frame. My system specs are listed below:
    Dell Inspiron 530
Intel Co4GB Dual Channel DDR2re 2 Quad Processor
    Memory:4GB Dual Channel DDR2
    video card:Radeon ATI HD 2600 XT 256MB
    HDD:500GB Serial ATA Hard Drive
Does any one is having any idea how to solve this problem.

You can try the following action to detect where the problem lies.
1)You can perform hard drive scan/fix and see if any error found
2)Try performing memory test and see if there is any error found
3)Try to update the BIOS, For this you can visit the DELL site and download the updated version.
4)You can even try windows 7 Startup Repair.
Perform all this task and see if there is any error found and get solution for that error.

With the power failure a lot of other issue can arise, almost anything is possible. After boot is the system works fine? The length of time it takes to test suggest there may be CPU issue.Slow boot means there might be a motherboard or hard drive problem. Have you try to run Dell diagnostics. If not then perform full dell diagnostics accessed by F12 at boot up. Try to run CPU diagnostics. Check it properly and determine what the problem is.

It looks like a hard drive is the problem. Atleast one area to start with. hard drive is showing read test error code 0F00:0244 errors. Which means your hard drive is failing/failed.You need to replace it. I would suggest you to backup all your files and essential data you need to save to other media. You can have new hard drive i hate to load again from scratch and it is better for me to buy a new computer in such case.

You can use Acronis True Image Home backup software. You can have a second or external hard drive to save you. You will able to restore the system to new hard drive in about an hour with full hard drive backup to the second hard drive. You should do periodic backup of your data. I always backup by data in every week so that if there is any such problem as you have I can restore all the backup data and can start my work. I will just lose a week of data.
