I bought So today an HP F4280 . to print not too expensive , I put a cartridge 350XL . Nothing to fire , The ink is finished. So how to turn off hp printer replace ink cartridge,
Yet the 350 fits perfectly into the slot, exactly the same box, AC should be able to walk ... If anything , it's just an electronic switch to inhibit, or some error like that. Anyone have a idea? Please suggest.

Put the HP Deskjet power, lift the top cover and wait until the print cartridges are positioned at the center of the printer. Once the cartridges are at the center of the printer , unplug the power cord to the back of the printer. Remove both print cartridges and place them horizontally on a sheet of paper. Do not leave the print cartridges over 30 minutes off the printer. If a cartridge remains too long in the open air , the ink dries, making it unusable. Also, do not dirty your hands and your clothes.

Dampen a clean cotton swab , and then press the ends to remove excess water . Hold the black cartridge so as to position the nozzle plate facing up. Using cotton swab , clean the front and sides of the print cartridge , as indicated by the arrows.. Do not wipe the nozzle plate. Make sure no deposit remains on the cartridge. To do this , place it in the light and tilt it . If you find traces of dust or fibers , repeat steps 2 and 3 to make them disappear. Now to clean the color print cartridge . Use a cotton swab nine each cartridge to avoid transferring deposits from one cartridge to another.

The amount of ink available for printing depends on several factors: the printing habits and how the printing system uses ink to print pages while maintaining reliable performance. Generally , printers used regularly consume less ink for cleaning. Compared to print jobs close, print jobs less regular require maintenance procedures more aggressive for the nozzles of printheads. These procedures more aggressive use more ink. The maintenance procedures can also be triggered by other events, such as the amount of ink used and the relocation of a cartridge that has not been used since long.

Re: How to turn off hp printer replace ink cartridge

Over time , the cartridges are losing a part of the ink by evaporation. This results in a lower volume of ink available and possible changes in the chemical composition of the ink. The cartridges can not be closed completely due to altitude changes during transport and temperature fluctuations during storage and use . HP cartridges are designed to operate reliably after a long shelf life in stores and for several months, once installed in the printer.
