Display goes off, when my HP monitor Beeps

Hello,
I am having a HP monitor connected to my computer .During the work the status window in the middle of the screen pops up and tells me that there is no input signal and after that its display does off.It give me series of beeps.2 beep then a long beep .This thing continuous for 8 to 9 time then nothing.The HP people are unable to help me out.Please suggest some solutions.

My HP pavilion media center PC was making the same kind of beeps .I had checked the beep code advice page and i found that there is problem with my gpu card.But when i removed my gpu card and put it again .It Gave me one short beep and one long beep .When i checked the beep code the advice page says its to do with a memory problem and when i removed my processor i get no beeps.Can some body tell me that where is the problem

I am providing you the article below which contain the beep and its meaning-
1-1 short beep-------->PC is booting normally
2-2 short beeps------->CMOS problem
3-1 long beep / 1 short beep-----> Problem with motherboard or RAM
4-1 long beep / 2 short beeps ----->Problem with graphics card
5-1 long beep / 3 short beeps ------>Problem with keyboard
5-1 long beep / 9 short beeps------->BIOS failure
6-3 beeps--------->Base 64K RAM failure.

Your computer is having the motherboard problem .You should get your motherboard changed with a new one ,but before this see that your ram is properly working even sometimes ram only has a problem,so just call on hp customer care for sending their engineers .If the problem continues then get your screen changed.Keeping in mind that the new one work out.

There is a problem with your mother board or the processor.If your processor is not seated and the fan is not properly fixed the same beep will come and in case of the motherboard if the proper power will come then the processor start working.So you try to re-fix your fan or processor ,if the problem is not solved then check the fan with some other motherboard.Try out this solution,it will really be helpful.
