A webcam application problem with Dell inspiron 1564

Hi,
I have a dell inspiron 1564 laptop with me.Yesterday when i opened the web-cam application of my dell machine .It gave me the message that 'Close all other streaming applications to start the video'.After this i closed all the application and tried the same. But it again gave me the same message.I have no ideas about this problem so please help me .

I think that you are having problem related to you web-cam driver .Either you driver might be not installed properly or it might be corrupted or it might be outdated .So you download a new driver for you system.I am providing you the web address for downloading the driver.If you are having a fresh copy then install it.click the link below-

First you close all IMs like MSN,SKYPE,Google talk, yahoo messenger etc. after closing this you try your web-cam application.You need to choose your mode as IM for matching the above condition Or if you are choosing capture mode,you will definitely need to close all of the above application because there some applications that are using the web-cam and these are conflicting with it so you should close other applications in order to have it working smoothly.

A few days back i to was facing the same kind of problem with my web-cam.But soon i got a solution for it.As every body know that the web-cam is to slow ,so try to open it and till it open go to setting .In the setting make face taking ,continuous and speed mode slow .Now your web-cam will work properly and it will not show any message in future.
