Cisco 877 ADSL2+ Sync Speed Query

I want to ask you guys that do anybody know that how to force the SYNC speed lower on a Cisco 877 ADSL2+ Router? I have noticed it that once my router connected with the slow speed but there no interleave delay shown. And even difference between the 18000Kbps sync compared to a 15000Kbps sync is not noticeable. Has anybody done it with your router then please let me know.

For speeds above 6000 the so-called ADSL2 DSL technology is used. This technique is only supported by newer routers - on older routers (not ADSL2 support), access works, but anyway, but can not be played off full speed. You should bring the manufacturer of your router so find out whether the new technology is supported. With new orders for DSL rates, you can usually also order the same router - it is normal all ADSL2 capable.

If you use a wireless router, it is possible that neighboring wireless networks overlap with yours and thus reduce the speed. Especially in densely populated cities may occur more frequently if multiple routers on the same radio channel. Often, by default, because it would always default the same radio channels - this may cause interference.
As a remedy, you can simply change the radio channel on your router. Either you try out different ways through or by downloading the freeware Netstumbler with which you can check on which channels your neighbors on the road. A radio channel with the greatest possible distance to where the neighbors can do wonders.

cFos Traffic Shaping prioritizes data traffic so that essential packages of all normal packages overtake them all. This applies also the receipts in a timely manner. Uploads no longer clog the line. cFos Traffic Shaping recognizes a number of important packets and prioritize them so that the general Internet traffic running smoothly. This manifests itself particularly low ping times, which not only accelerates surfing and downloads, but for the decisive game winning brings.

Re: Cisco 877 ADSL2+ Sync Speed Query

cFosSpeed Traffic Shaping consists of two parts: First, the maximum speed out of the line (for sending and receiving), then send the data just below the maximum speed, using the priority queues for data to be sent. This essential package can be used first. When receiving data cFosSpeed can not change the order of the data, but it can slow down the transmitter so that the pipe is not blocked and thus the ping times stay nice and small.
