80gb ide hdd

Hello. I wanted to upgrade my computer to Windows 7 but i have got my old 80GB IDE HDD from Western Digital. Will the HDD work with Windows 7?

I'd like to help you, the drive should work with windows 7 however if your PC doesn't have Vista on it, you need to format it, If you are using the windows XP change the file format to NTFS . The only concern here is your computer should be compatible with the windows only then you can install . Here's the link you can go through to check the compatibility and install the windows.
