Good gaming monitor in $200-$300 range?

Somehow i have managed to get the money for new monitor and i looking for a gaming monitor which can give me great playing feelings. I have searched many monitors but i guess nobody is there who an tell me some facts about the monitors. My budget is about Rs. 8000 - 12000. Can you guys suggest me some really good monitors?
