    Altec Lansing MX5021 vs Klipsch ProMedia GMX A

    I am looking for PC speakers of good quality. I hesitate between these two products that are the same price (between 150 and 180 Euros) :
    - Altec Lansing MX5021 ;
    - Klipsch ProMedia GMX A .

    On the design side I am oriented KLIPSCH . Regarding housing , the Klipsch is slightly less bulky. However I do not know the sound quality of these two products. The Altec has a very good reputation on various notices in the forums . However , some say the housing returns a that when it does not work? Do you know these products, can you help me make a choice ?

    The MX5021 appealing primarily due to their look very simple and attractive . Each satellite has two speakers for the midrange and a tweeter for high frequencies . The MX - 5021 comes with a docking control that adjusts the overall volume , the treble , bass and an on / off button . History of completeness, Altec book also has a small IR remote control that offers the same settings .

    The sound quality is at the appointment but the prevalence of acute is quite surprising . After fine tuning can reduce this parameter which can be annoying . The treble remains still badly off if we increase the volume too high , which is a shame . Especially as the quality of bass and midrange is simply excellent. We regret that little weakness on the part very promising and enjoying the THX certification.

    The MX - 5021 augurs a new line at Altec . Previously , we indeed have the choice between the big muscular type kits 621 kits input range as the 221 kits or design with the 2100 or more recently the VS4121 . The MX -5021 is completely different and will appeal to both through a sleek design and a relatively muscular power . Listed as the kit highlights its THX certification . Many speakers also display the logo competition THX but remember that it was Altec Lansing ADA885 and ADA890 with , who were the first to offer a kit with a PC certification.
