The Nostromo n52 is not really a joypad, but rather a complement to the mouse for all kinds of games, and in particular the First Person Shooters (like Farcry) or sets of real-time strategy (RTS as Warcraft III or Command & Conquer Generals). It has a good directional pad and several buttons but it is specially designed to be placed under the left hand. If you're one of the 80% of rightists who inhabit this planet, it leaves the right hand free to use the mouse.

If you are juggling usually with scripts, rejoice. The software supports GamePanel a function of writing macros in the program G-series Keyboard Profiler. Thus, if the programming of your standard macros do not suffice, you will be able, thanks to scripts, recreate virtually any combination of keys, macros, mouse movements, time waiting and more. The script function in this software uses Lua, a powerful scripting language commonly used in games (including World of Warcraft and Crysis) to allow flexible customization in real time.

A 3in1 pad! The PS2700 Dual Analog Pad is multi-compatible PC, Playstation 2 and 3. In addition to all these buttons and controls, the PS2700 is equipped with innovative features such as the Mode Accuracy. Switch Mode Precision instantly reduces the sensitivity of the right analog stick, thus facilitating your approach to the target and giving you a real advantage in the game!

The PS2700 Rumble Pad part levers premium proposed by Saitek. It is therefore essential - that is 4 buttons, 4 triggers, 2 analog, 2 sticks and a directional pad - but also little extras like the Cyborg module. It is compatible with PC and also Playstation 2 and 3. While the Cyborg Rumble Pad inspired design of the Xbox 360, the PS2700 opted for the look of the Playstation 3. The grip is nice and all buttons are fully accessible. The handle is well made, it is solid and there is no clearance between the keys and the hull.

Whether you prefer the placement of sticks so rather than Xbox 360 or Playstation 3, this is not a problem for the PS2700. With Cyborg module, the cross and the stick can be reversed: press the button on the back, remove the module and place it as you see fit. Like the Cyborg Rumble Pad, the behavior in games is impeccable. The sticks are responsive and offer good accuracy. It can still be improved through a button located at the back which activates the accuracy.

The use of Nostromo n52 will not turn you a God to Battlefield 1942 in 5 minutes. Instead, we must first become familiar with the beast before regaining its original speed on the traditional keyboard + mouse.
But tested long enough in Far Cry and Dungeon Siege (or key combinations are extremely numerous) it shows that the principle that deserves some attention here. Having a limited number of key and a second wheel directly under the fingers can easily switch between different positions and different group policies.

Once unpacked, the n52 is the worthy successor of his grandfather, with a slight twist. On the one hand, the austere black has been abandoned for a more classic gray with touches of orange here and there. And, secondly, the number and placement of buttons seems to be better. Once the device plugged into the USB, there is the serious Belkin, with drivers that work without the other crash, and an editing program and management profiling clean. N50 owners should note with pleasure that they can reuse their old profiles.
