Converting portable hard drive to fat32

ok heres my problem, i have a freeagent 880gb usb portable hard drive and used swissknife to convert it to fat32...now it reads at 325gb hard drive! dont know where i went wrong.How do i get it back to 880gb but keep it running fat32, im using fat32 because its compatible wit the ps3 b and i know it cant read over 4gb files but have no choice unless u guys know of another!

First format your hard drive using Windows CD to ntfs. To convert a hard drive to FAT32 file system, follow the below steps:

1. Click Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools, click Drive Converter (FAT32), and then click Next.
2. In the Drives box, click the drive you want to convert to the FAT32 file system.
3. Click Next, and then click OK.
4. Click Next, click Next, and then click Next again.
5. When the conversion is complete, click Finish.
